Centrifuges

Featuring powerful, maintenance-free motors, these centrifuges accommodate a variety of rotors to meet your application needs. They are three centrifuges in one: a high-capacity, general-purpose centrifuge for cell

harvesting; a high-speed centrifuge for separating cell lysates; and a microcentrifuge for DNA precipitations.

For lower capacity needs in one compact unit, Centrifuge 5804 (refrigerated: 5804 R) spins plates and tubes from 0.2 ml to 4 x 100 ml at low-to-high speeds for a wide range of applications. These compact centrifuges can accommodate capacities of up to 16 x 15 ml conical (Falcon®) or 30 microcentrifuge

tubes per run. Centrifuge 5810 (refrigerated: 5810 R) offers maximum application versatility and popular tube

capacity, accommodating up to 4 x 400 ml tubes or 16 microplates. These compact, benchtop centrifuges achieve remarkable throughput of up to 48 x 15 ml or 20 x 50 ml conical (Falcon®) tubes.

Product Information

The Eppendorf Reference 2 is our premium product. Besides improved of its ergonomics the focus design lay on providing the most accurate results possible, optimum user safety, reliability and robustness for a long service life. The innovative single button operation is not only fast and easy, but it also allows active aerosol1) reduction and thus protects the user, the sample and the pipette. The sturdy handle manufactured with stainless steel protects the pipette from impact and in combination with the spring loaded bumpers the Reference 2 is likely to stay within calibration even if it takes a fall. These high levels of security make the Reference 2 ideal for use with precious liquids, or in any application requiring extremely high levels of accuracy. When there can be no compromise on quality and reproducibility, Eppendorf’s Reference 2 is an ideal instrument for these Liquid Handling applications.

1) An aerosol is a colloid of fine solid particles or liquid droplets, in air or another gas.

Thermomixer

The Eppendorf Mastercycler gradient sets the standard in the modern molecular biology laboratory, with the Gradient PCR being the first-choice method for optimizing reaction conditions. A rogrammable temperature gradient of up to 20 °C enables the

optimization not only of the annealing temperature, but also of all temperature steps of a PCR protocol for even the most demanding applications – of course with uniform heating and cooling rates!
